Annika Laanes

Annika joined BDO Estonia in 2022 and specialises in accounting and reporting services. She advises both Estonian and international companies on accounting and financial reporting matters, helping clients establish efficient and reliable day-to-day financial processes.

In her daily work, Annika uses a range of accounting and payroll software solutions, including Directo, Merit Palk and Dynamics. She also has previous experience with SmartAccounts, Merit Aktiva, Coupa and Workday. Her hands-on experience with various financial management systems enables her to quickly adapt to different client environments, processes and reporting requirements.

Prior to joining BDO Estonia, Annika worked as an accountant in the hospitality and service sector as well as in a non-profit organisation. This diverse professional background has provided her with solid expertise in accounting, taxation and payroll administration across different types of organisations.

Annika holds a degree in Accounting and Finance from Tallinn University of Technology. She continuously develops her professional knowledge through specialised training and professional education, ensuring that clients receive high-quality, up-to-date support and advice.
