Birgit joined the BDO Estonia team in March 2026 as an HR Generalist. Her main areas of responsibility include providing HR and recruitment services, advising clients, delivering HR management support, organizing HR service delivery, and working closely with subcontractors while coordinating their work.
Before moving into the HR field, Birgit gained broad professional experience in both international, business-focused IT companies and the public sector. She has supported procurement processes, contributed to building and developing partnerships, and participated in business development activities. Her previous responsibilities have also included shaping sales and procurement processes and preparing bids and proposals. In the public sector, she contributed to coordinating the state budget process, working with various stakeholders, and helping to ensure smooth end-to-end execution.
Her previous experience has shaped strong analytical thinking, excellent collaboration skills, and the ability to work effectively in diverse and dynamic environments. She is familiar with working with a wide range of stakeholders and bringing clarity even in complex situations.
Birgit holds a bachelor’s degree in Business Management from the University of Southampton (UK) and a master’s degree in International Business Management from Tallinn University of Technology (TalTech). Birgit has also been a member of the Estonian Association of Human Resource Management (PARE) since March 2026.
