Ele Eding

Ele Eding joined BDO in Estonia in October 2020 as a Payroll Specialist. Today, she leads the payroll implementation function, overseeing client onboarding and the successful implementation of payroll solutions. Since October 2025, Ele has been a Partner at BDO Estonia.

Ele has more than 15 years of experience in accounting and payroll management. Throughout her career, she has specialised in designing and implementing high-quality, efficient payroll solutions for both Estonian and international organisations. She has managed payroll projects of varying complexity and international scope and has worked with clients across the logistics, banking, textile, and technology sectors.

Ele is responsible for the development and continuous improvement of payroll and reporting services, as well as the implementation of payroll solutions for new clients. Her role includes leading complex implementation projects, coordinating client communication, and supporting the team in the design and delivery of tailored payroll solutions. She is also actively involved in the professional development of the payroll team and the optimisation of internal workflows.

For Ele, understanding each client’s business needs holistically is essential. She focuses on delivering solutions that combine accurate payroll management, process efficiency, and a high degree of automation.

She works closely with both local and international clients, as well as teams across the BDO network. Ele’s working languages are Estonian and English.

Ele has hands-on experience with a wide range of payroll and HR systems, including Taavi Personal, Taavi Palk, Merit Palk, SAP HR, and Dynamics 365 Payroll.

She holds a qualification in Accounting from Tallinn School of Economics and passed the Estonian Professional Accountant Level 5 certification examination in 2019. To maintain and further develop her expertise, Ele actively participates in both BDO internal and external professional training programmes.
